Our 20 campsites, most of which have water and electricity hook-ups, are well treed and are situated along our 1000 foot sandy beach & our campground loop. Our three, hand crafted 1 1/2 story log cabins are fully equipped for light housekeeping, offering cozy comfort in a wilderness setting. All linens, cutlery, and dishes are supplied & there is a picnic table & fire pit at each cabin.Our log cabins are built by our son Oliver at Highwind Lake Log Homes. Highwind Lake Camp is a three season resort which offers unique and different opportunities for wilderness adventures that change with each season. We open our camp on the May long weekend and close for the year after the deer hunt season.Our camp is the only facility on Highwind Lake. This means our guests don't have to worry about a lot of traffic on the lake when they head out for a peaceful canoe trip or intense water-skiing.
The terrain at Highwind is very hilly and rugged. Many of our guests like to head out with camera in hand when hiking our old logging roads or climbing our hills to capture the view of the lake from on high. Many guests prefer to do their exploring by ATV and there are many trails to explore.
Our area is also noted for its blueberries. There are usually great areas for picking not too far from the camp.

In our office, our guests can purchase ice, ice cream, pop, treats, firewood and fishing licenses. Highwind Lake Camp also offers boat and canoe rentals and has a diving raft and water slide to use while swimming.
